PROJECT PIE Philippines is an artisan-inspired create-your-own-pizza place conceptualized by James Markham in 2012.
The “Artisan” term is used to refer to hand-crafted pizza prepared on-the-spot based on your personal preference. Project Pie was brought into the Philippines in July 31, 2013 by International Family Food Services, Inc (IFFSI). It is the same company behind the restaurant Shakey’s. Their first branch in the Philippines was opened along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City in July 2013.
They have ready-made pizza (P245) which you can order by the number. But don’t you think its more fun to create your own? For only P285, people can build their own pizza. Customers start with a plain 9-and-a-half-inch pizza dough, then they choose the toppings from a list of more than 30 ingredients which include more than the usual cheese and pepperoni, quality ingredients like prosciutto, jalapeno, Italian sausage, artichokes, and a variety cheeses like feta, gorgonzola, and ricotta.
From the sauce to toppings, customers can freely choose everything they want. Choosing the toppings for me was the hardest part, even though this was my 3rd time here but I am always having a hard time choosing the toppings (maybe because I want to add everything.. HAHA).
Here’s their menu: Zomato: Project Pie Menu
The interiors were casual and fun specially with all the interesting text all around the restaurant.
At Project Pie you can be your own chef and come up with your best pizza. They also have create your own pasta for only P185 and a build your own salad for only (P195).
For as low was P185, you can choose the noodle, sauce, and topping you want.
After having a hard time choosing, I have what I think will be a great pizza. My next creation will be a tomato pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni, anchovies, garlic, caramelized onions, mushroom, green bell pepper, and black olives.
And for sweet lovers like me, you can try their Nutella Pizza. It’s a MUST try dessert. I have tried it before in their Bluebay branch. It’s perfect to satisfy your sweet cravings!
Overall, a great concept executed well with the custom-made pizza, fun interiors, friendly staffs, and cool vibe of an innovative pizza pie place.
As of today, they have around 10 branches in the Philippines (listed below). I have tried their Bluebay and Mandaluyong branch, hoping to visit more of their branches!
